Extensions & Alterations

Extensions & Alterations

This is an example of one of our local projects which also included the initial new build of the property.

Traditional, full new-build with exposed oak frame trusses & later added extension in Kingston Lisle, Oxfordshire.

Little Court was constructed using traditional materials with an open, oak-trussed roof. The house was built with the living accommodation on the first floor to take advantage of the extensive views. The garage block, with a one-bedroom flat above, was a later added addition. The client also then commissioned us to build a two-storey extension to the side of the property, to form a home office and kitchen. All the oak framing and trusses for the building were constructed on site by our in-house joiners.

The difference we make

Although we get involved in a wide range of construction projects, including new builds, we are perhaps best known for our restoration work – often on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings.

What a pleasure it is to have a lovely bespoke, solid timber staircase and new windows that work so well in our new house. We are delighted – Thank you!

“Skilled workmanship, you really cared for our listed property”

It is nice to know there are companies out there that still care and take the time to do some really good work. Thank you for doing such a good job and for making sure it was done in keeping with my listed home.
Mrs S Winkman

“A huge heart felt thanks”

In the aftermath of the fire as we surveyed the debris that was once our home, we could never have imagined that a more beautiful an well planned home would replace it. You have retained its historical charm yet incorporated up-to-date conveniences of modern living. We shall miss you all. A huge heart felt thanks.
Mr & Mrs Steinsberg
