Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007

You’ll find that here at Imperial Restoration & Construction we adhere to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 on every project. This means that each job is properly planned and managed to ensure that health and safety is integral to the build.

Imperial Restoration & Construction recognises that its activities have an impact on the environment, and is committed to improving its environmental performance. Through caring policies and effective management we will endeavour to conduct our undertaking in such a way that adverse effects to the environment will be avoided or minimised. The Company acknowledges and accepts its obligations under legislation and guidance dealing with environmental issues effecting, or arising from, its business. Imperial Restoration & Construction is committed to identifying environmental issues requiring attention, and to implementing measures to achieve improvement in these matters.
In particular, attention will be given to:
Environmental awareness and understanding of our business among those working for or on behalf of Imperial Restoration. Employees will be informed on all environmental aspects and issues as they affect our undertaking, and given training as necessary. Contractors and suppliers will be encouraged to adopt sound environmental practices. The considerate use of land undergoing development. Special regard will be given to archaeological finds. Waste, hazardous, and toxic materials will be stored, treated, and disposed of in such a way as to avoid environmental harm. All waste materials from site will be handled by registered waste carriers and in accordance with the ‘Duty of Care’ requirements contained in the Environmental Protection Act 1990. The use and re-use of materials to minimise waste, and, whenever practical, the use of materials and products from sustainable sources. Controlling the use of potentially harmful substances and treatments during our works, and the emission of pollutants, noise, and dust. Continuous development, monitoring, and investigation of systems, practices, and procedures so as to ensure that the environment remains a foremost consideration. There will be a formal annual review of policy, including consultation with our building safety advisers.

Environment Agency

As a licensed waste carrier, Imperial Restoration & Construction are approved by the Environment Agency, we are able to dispose of commercial, industrial and household waste legally and safely.

Building Safety Group Checks

Where necessary, Imperial Restoration & Construction are happy to affiliate to the Building Safety Group on a project-by-project basis. This provides us with access to additional advice and support and gives extra reassurance to you as a customer.

Fully Insured

Imperial Restoration & Construction are fully insured with £5m public liability and £10m in employer’s liability.
